Jesus only gave the clear purpose and justification for humanity’s existence: there is no higher call, duty, or honor than the worship of God In a modern culture laden with materialism and self-gratification, the thought of all humanity existing for the sole purpose of worshiping God may not seem logical or appealing. However, generations upon generations testify otherwise.
When we choose to give the Lord our early morning moments, what He gives to us in return often surprises and delights us.

Next the devil took him to the peak of a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. “I will give it all to you,” he said, “if you will kneel down and worship me.” “Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’” Matthew 4:8–10
Near the conclusion of his forty-day desert experience, Jesus revealed the divine design for all humanity: You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him. This response followed an offer from the evil one to lure Jesus from the will of God to a destructive path for him and would ultimately lead to hopelessness for all humanity, but Jesus would have no part of it. With a quick reply, the Son of God responded and brought purpose and privilege to all of humanity. He included no theological defense for God’s existence, his superiority, or the fact that he’s the Ruler over all things. Jesus only gave the clear purpose and justification for humanity’s existence: there is no higher call, duty, or honor than the worship of God. In a modern culture laden with materialism and self-gratification, the thought of all humanity existing for the sole purpose of worshiping God may not seem logical or appealing. However, generations upon generations testify otherwise. Genuine, abundant, and eternal life is experienced through Jesus Christ, in worship and service to God the Father.
You alone are Jehovah God, the Father of all life, and you alone are worthy of worship. I praise your name; there is no one else like you, Lord. You are exalted above all things, and all things exist for your glory. Amen.
Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.
