WORSHIP WORD Praise the Lord, everything he has created, everything in all his kingdom. Psalm 103:22 THOUGHT Worshiping God is the highest of wonders for the soul set free from evil’s dark dungeon and transferred into the glorious relationship with the essence of light and life, Jesus Christ. The Christian does not view worship as labor and hollow duty—quite the opposite. The believer sees worship as the pinnacle of the heart’s elations and provision to give the Lord glory. God’s aim has always been and will always be to be worshiped by his creation. The worship of God is life’s greatest offering, life’s greatest fulfillment. Worship is God’s divine destiny for us, his gift to us, and reward for us. Our worship of God is the reason for our existence and is required daily in our lives for our spiritual health. We come to God to honor him yet in the process our soul is also replenished. Worship fills the soul with unrestrained joy, and this privilege continues as we pass from this earth-life into eternal life. PRAYER Lord, you have made me to worship you. Thank you for your provision in the beautiful gift of worship. It is the highest honor, the apex use for God’s gift of emotion, and the privilege of heart and soul. I glorify your name, oh, God! Amen. Give us today the food we need.
